Overview
Vienna, which is often noted as the best city to live in the world, is a place rich in cuisine, culture, architecture, and many other things. Although it has a stiff, classical European style, it also has cool and hip aspects that grow in popularity to satisfy the younger and more vibrant people who come to settle in it.

There are endless museums to visit, as well as top-class restaurants, that you can easily hop between one another using modern and organized public transportation. It’s impossible to see everything, so explore it bit by bit and enjoy the occasional walk in the streets, you never know what will come up.
Co-Works
Vienna is a major European hub. You can imagine there are many office and co-work opportunities, especially with its fast-growing tech scene. You will find high-class working spaces alongside more affordable options and anything in between. Below are the ones we recommend trying.

Impact Hub Vienna

Impact Hub is a known name in Vienna and a developed community. Besides working spaces and many other services they host and organize events that open up great networking opportunities for entrepreneurs and anyone seeking new contacts. Definitely one to check if you are close by.

ZI8 Coworking

It is a very spacious venue, well designed, and in a prime location. You will get that start-up feeling here that might push you a bit further to be productive while doing so in style. A small game room will keep you entertained if you are up for a fun break from work.

Nomad Friendly Cafe's

Phil (Cafe Phil)

The place where you can find all the types of people coming to enjoy good coffee, meet, and/or get work done. In general, it is very friendly to nomads and you will feel very comfortable working here, due both to the friendly staff and the comfortable seating.

Cafe Jelinek

Not like most coffee houses in Vienna, when entering Cafe Jelinek you will see many other tables occupied with single people doing their own thing (working, reading, chatting on the phone, etc). So in that sense, it is very welcoming to open a laptop and do your thing. With the rather antique style and cozy feeling, it makes this place one of our favorite cafes we have been to. A unique and authentic experience.

Das Mobel

Translated roughly to The Furniture Cafe, it's another rare place in the normal cafe scene. The abundance of seats and power outlets also serves as functionality, making quite the statement; people should be able to charge their laptops! Besides that, many people will sit here to work and enjoy a good craft beer or one of the carefully picked snacks.

Strudel is a national pride here. Every coffee house serves them, and for a good reason. The most popular are Apple, Poppy, and blueberries strudel.
Restaurants and Bars

Jazz land

Walk inside and walk back in time. The Jazz Land looks like a place the Beatles would have performed if they were around back then. We enjoyed a really good blues/jazz show by a local fellow who seemed to be adored by the elderly community that came to watch. Make sure you check their schedule and pick a show to your liking.

Mel’s Diner

We went because we heard about the fine beer selection, but apparently, Mel's diner is also a temple for the Meat and Burger lovers. And the beers indeed did not fail to satisfy our craving for an awesome craft beer.

1516 Brewing Company

If you haven't noticed, we appreciate a good beer, but places that brew their own selection should be admired even more. 1516 Is not just brewing beers, they brew amazing beers in all colors and tastes. Besides the drinks, they serve delicious food, such as traditional sausages, cold cuts, and more.

The Birdyard

The name suggests the concept here. A bar with a special atmosphere and design which serves, like the colorful birds painted all over, cheerful cocktails which any tongue can find itself a good match. If you are not sure ask for guidance from the lovely staff which will happily elaborate on which is which. Upstairs there is a dining area if you need to stabilize your walk before going home.

Needle Vinyl Bar

Located in an easy-to-miss street, this hip place will impress any music enthusiasts and people who seek a young alternative atmosphere. They serve cocktails or any beverage of your choice and spin Vinyl from many decades creating a sense of nostalgia.

Ganesha Indisches Restaurant

If you like Indian food and culture, this is the place. Europe is not lacking with great Indian restaurants, but Ganesha is one to come back to. It's just everything you could expect, but done perfectly. The music, decorations, vibe, and of course the food.
