Overview
We had to choose 1 Spanish city to spend a month in the summer. Between Barcelona, Madrid, Malaga, Sevillia and Valencia we chose Valencia, and oh boy we are happy for that decision. It is safe to say that we fell in love in this city in terms of what it had to offer vs being a relatively easy place to live in.

The roads are never too busy, the streets are not too quiet but not too hectic, the beach is accessible and pleasant, and the food is marvelous!
Co-Works
Valencia is not very well established as a remote workers paradise, but coworking spaces exist and are lively, together with few co-living options as well.
Expect to see more locals just renting a desk rather than a horde of digital nomads, but that’s part of the Valencian nature.

We had the chance to work only from wayco, but small research will show you many others.
Wayco
Wayco

Wayco

Very quiet and work oriented co-work. The space is pretty big and divided between different sections, which gives a nice feeling of a big office space where everyone are focused on getting their work done. They have permanent desks, hot desks, small offices, a chill out space. Whatever you need for a productive day.

Nomad Friendly Cafe's

Bastard Coffee & Kitchen

The food is probably the main attraction here, so good! It is not a huge place but big enough to accommodate people who come to work, note that plugs do not always exist near the tables so charge your battery beforehand :/

Boa Beach Valencia

A nice and cozy place with delicious sandwiches and toasts. Good value for money. Nice place to work, study or just hang out. Healthy options and the wifi is reliable. and it's very near the beach!

Not many know but the famous Paella was invented in Valencia. A rice and vegetables (topped with seafood or meat) cooked on a wide pan, that brings all the flavours together.
Restaurants and Bars

El racó del pintxo

Cute little place with an easy going vibe. On the vitrine there are a lot of different delicacies, you just head there and choose the most attractive one, they renew the stock every few minutes. So fun!

Lizarran

Another cool place with a cool concept. You just sit on the tables outside and once in a while one of the waiters pass by everyone with a tray full of tapas or pinchos and you can choose to take, or wait for the next round. Genius!

La Madriguera ruzafa

People come for the cocktails, and vibe.  When we were there it was still empty, but we could see the potential. And yeah we tried a few cocktails and they were fantastic.

Café Berlin

Cozy place with great musical choices, retro style furniture, and eclectic selection of drinks. Oh and there is a terrace!

La Bella De Cadiz

A place that looks like a trip to Alice In Wonderland. Colorful and very hip. After some hours it becomes a hub for all the neighborhood youngsters to hang out. Special place indeed.
