Are you planning to visit Dubai soon? we prepared our must to do list  for you with important info and tips which we collected on our trip.

9 places you must see in Dubai

1. Burj Khalifa

Also known as the Burj Dubai, the tallest building in the world since 2009, very impressive to see! There are few ways to see it, the first one is by walking next to Dubai mall and seeing it from the outside and just below it. The second option is to buy a ticket and go to see the view from the building. The last option is to go to a rooftop hotel or a pool to enjoy the view. We recommend you to go Address Fountain Views – this hotel pool provides a great view over the Burj. You can visit as a guest of the hotel, which is quite expensive – around 408$ per night, or, like us, you can pay one time fee for pool access – You pay 54$ and get 40$ consumable to buy drinks and food.

2. Dubai Frame

It’s a museum in the shape of a frame. The height of the building is equivalent to a 43 floors building. It is quite cool to see. It also broke the Guinness record for the biggest frame in the world, but well, we assume the competition didn’t really try that hard.

3. Future Museum

One of the most popular tourist attractions in the city. A trip through an imagined future, embedding crazy and creative exhibits, interactive areas, and finally a glimpse to existing but innovative projects that would probably change the world one day. Very interesting place.

*Note that you should book your tickets in advance because it gets fully booked easily. We arrived there just to find out that the only available slot was just few hours before our flight back, lucky for us we made it.

4. Free Beach Clubs in Dubai?

Barasti Beach club – It took us some time to find a nice beach blub without a crazy entrance fee. Most of them cost 50$ or more just for entrance! For us it was a bit too much so we are happy we found this one. It’s a cool place, quite chilled during the day, and at the evening it becomes more like a party with live music sometimes. The crows tends to be younger we assume, which is nice.

5. The Palm & Pointe Typo

The Palms are an artificial islands in Dubai. It is part of a larger series of developments called the Palm Islands, there are many attractions there and mostly hotels, but to truly see in whole it you can take a helicopter flight or visit one of this point views – AURA SKYPOOL Dubai or Nakheel Mall. Just at the top of the artificial palm shaped island lies this beautiful hotel, making you feel in an Aladdin sequel.

6. The Dubai Mall

It is the second largest mall in the world and includes over 1200 shops. Even if you are not into shopping so much it’s totally worth a visit for the Attractions – Rainforest Cafe, VR park, Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, Dubai Creek Tower Replica, Hysteria and much more.

7. Dubai Gold Souk Area

It’s a traditional market located in Dubai’s commercial business district in Deira, The primary focus of the main market is Gold. It’s really impressive to see that amount of gold and you can combine it with a day trip in the area and after the market go for a walk at Al Seef historic creek with Shops, Restaurants & Cafes.

8. Day trip in Abu Dhabi

Just one hour drive from Dubai, you can go for a day trip in Abu Dhabi, that includes this tree amazing places:

Qasr Al-Watan – The royal palace of Abu Dhabi. It looks out of this world, really. At the center there is a huge hall decorated from floor to ceiling, a few fancy meeting rooms, a high library, and a golden exhibit that everybody stops for a picture or two. The palace is not functioning as a residential building but rather a work establishment, with offices, conferences, and lots of guards everywhere.

Louvre Museum – A branch of its Parisian twin. This museum has it all, antiques from 3000BC to contemporary artworks. It is clear that overall they have put a lot of effort into making it impressive and well thought of.

*If you are sensitive to cold, get yourself a warm jacket to endure the strong AC inside.

Sheikh Zayed Mosque – If you are going to see it from inside, be prepared that they are strict with the dress code, especially for women. The Mosque is absolutely gorgeous and the entrance is free. But, for a better view over the Mosque the best spot is Wahat AlKarama. It’s a small memorial museum which didn’t excite us very much but the garden features a great view, especially at sunset time. *There is a free shuttle from the mosque directly to there.

9. Desert Safari Dubai

It’s an attraction that many do during their Dubai visit. Many different tour operators offer you trips during the day or night and usually includes things like dune bashing, sandboarding, dune buggy, and quad biking, and of course seeing the amazing desert. There are different packages that include buffet meals, shows, henna painting, and even dozing under the stars.
