Cape Town

City of Many Shapes and Colors

Table Mountain

Overview
It got that name because it is the largest and most important city on the western cape of South Africa. An area rich in different natures and cultures. Near the city there are green fields, mountains and forests, but driving a bit further you can find vast desserts and wild safaris, while the culture aspect is also very much diverse with rich neighborhoods alongside poverty and simplicity.

It is worth mentioning that the overall feeling while walking the town can feel unsafe at times, but overall it is more of a natural instinct and stigma than an actual hazard. Although watching out and minimizing risks is recommended, as in everywhere.
Co-Works
For those who come to work also, you will find plenty of options with different styles and concepts.

The Bureaux Woodstock

If creativity is what you need, this place might inspire your process with their flexible and modern design that creates different spaces, each different from the other. They are also pet friendly and offer promotional services for businesses to complement and promote those businesses who come to work there.

№80 Hout St

Very spacious and easy going space to maximize productivity. Natural light and top class facilities, and central location is what makes this place stand out and attract many remote workers and digital nomads for you to interact with.

Nomad Friendly Cafe's

Bootlegger Coffee Company

With a few locations around the city, this popular coffee shop is an easy choice when it comes to having a satisfying breakfast while getting some work done. Some branches have an outdoor space which is awesome if weather permits, and if not, the usually large spaces allow enough privacy and comfort to sit and relax.

Field Office

Located in lovely Woodstock, this cool coffee shop is friendly to remote workers as they seem to come there regularly. It's modern, inviting and spacious enough to provide all your needs. The coffee is very good and the selection of freshly baked goods and other meals makes it an enjoyable experience, not only a part time office.

Origin Coffee Roasting Cafe

For the hardcore coffee lovers, this is a must. A specialty coffee, roasted locally and served together with amazing baked goods and food options. It is known to be one of the first specialty coffee shops in South Africa and to this day it is still one of the best for sure. If it is not too crowded you can easily secure a table for a few hours and do your thing.

Truth Coffee Roasting Cafe

Another one with a supreme and respected coffee, roasted in house. But not only is it a good place to taste coffee, also working from there is an enjoyable experience due to the fast Wi-Fi and different seating options to choose from which most have a plug nearby.

A tasty relish made from tomatoes, onions, and spices which is served almost religiously alongside many dishes in S.A makes it a great companion with any meat, bread, or salad.
Restaurants and Bars

La Parada Bree Street

When you see a place where it's crowd overflows to the street it automatically makes you wonder what they are doing right. And with La Parada they do it more than right. A tapas menu with fun and inspiring cocktails are a base for a great lightweight shareable meal with your friends or partner that you won't forget easily.

Yours Truly/ Up Yours

On the popular street Kloof, this laid back bar cafe is a fun afterwork hangout for internationals and locals as one which makes it such an interesting place to be, and to eat! Add some live music and/or DJs from around the world and you get many happy people jumping to the music. Note that it might be worth it to reserve a table on busy days.

Tiger’s Milk Kloof Street

This restaurant, which some come only for drinks and chit chats, has a great atmosphere and tasty food that it became one of our favorites in town. The cocktails are very cool, and the beers are fine, or just an Aperol Spritz will do too.

Dark Horse Bar

Tasty creative drinks and voluptuous burgers or modernly served tapas are the reason people flock to this cool place. If the sun is still out it is inevitable to step to the outside deck and have another point of view to the wonderful mountain. We highly recommend it.
